Victor Lyons

Mr. Victor Lyons founded the AMERICAN CITIZENRY INSTITUTE on September 17, 2003, wherein a corporate charter was granted by the Nevada Secretary of State certifying this non-profit corporation including its Articles of Incorporation; the first entity in more than 200 years to exclusively serve the interests and concerns of all American citizens. Today, Mr. Lyons serves as the AMERICAN CITIZENRY INSTITUTE'S President and Chief Executive Officer.

During the Korean War, Mr. Lyons volunteered for military service in the U.S. Air Force. As a Korean War Veteran, Mr. Lyons is a Life Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and a member of American Legion Post 802.

In 1968, Mr. Lyons as President and Executive Director of the American Surgical Technicians Association, received a commendation from President Lyndon B. Johnson on behalf of the Association for tribute paid to all battlefield medical personnel serving in Vietnam. President Johnson declared the tribute special in honor of "...commendable actions," by the American Surgical Technicians Association.

In 1981, Victor Lyons was appointed to the position of Executive Director for the National Crime-Prevention Agency. Later that year, Mr. Lyons and the Executive Committee of the National Crime Prevention Agency were invited to the White House by the deputy counsel for President Reagan to discuss issues regarding domestic policy on crime prevention in the United States.

Victor Lyons retired from the Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority in 1989 after completing his undergraduate program in Administration of Justice, receiving his graduate certificate in Legal Education, and his Law Degree.

Mr. Lyons is currently associated with the State of Nevada, Clark County School District's Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) Program wherein he has been assigned to work with high school students in order to improve student learning skills, raise their level of interest, and to ascertain their potential to continue on to college.

Now as time permits, writing is ongoing to complete the autobiographical manuscript: Victor Lyons' Rendezvous with Destiny.
