Austin J. Chafee

As the AMERICAN CITIZENRY INSTITUTE's Treasurer and Chairperson for the Committee on Finance and Audits, Mr. Chafee oversees all financial and fiscal matters including revenue raising, expenditures, allocation of funds, and the application and implementation of all appropriate accounting and auditing mechanisms and methods. Furthermore, Mr. Chafee ensures that the integrity and character of the corporation's financial affairs are protected and intact.

Treasurer Chafee has had and continues to have a distinguished career in investigative services. He currently is the founder and CEO of A.J. Chafee Investigative Services, a national and international investigation company. He holds a TOP SECRET Clearance and various investigations credentials, and has done extensive investigative work for United States Departments of the Treasury, Homeland Security, Security Services, and Defense.

Mr. Chafee served as Deputy Director to Brigadier General (RET.) David Stiener of the Israeli Air Force in regards to the development of airport security procedures. Prior to Mr. Chafee's securities work, he was a sheriff's officer for the Ventura County (California) Sheriff's Department wherein he served in positions from patrol supervisor to major crimes investigator. While on the department, Mr. Chafee also served as an academy instructor and educator at Ventura Community College. Mr. Chafee's illustrious career began in the United States Army MPC wherein he received honorable discharges.

Mr. Chafee is a graduate of Moorepark College in California and holds an education certificate and teaching credentials from the University of California at Santa Barbara (UCSB). He attended California State University Los Angeles in the Administration of Justice program. Mr. Chafee holds a Police Officers Standards and Advance Training certification, a State of California Private Investigator License, a Private Guard License, a Firearms Permit, and a CCW Permit from the Ventura County Sheriff's Department.

Because of past and present affiliations with the National Crime Prevention Agency (a non-profit corporation), the co-founder of Creation of Drug Prevention Through Education (under President Ronald Reagan's administration), Salvation Army (area chairman), and the Baja Christian Ministries, Mr. Chafee has received special acknowledgements from the White House, Department of Justice, the U.S. Attorney General, and various State and Local government agencies.
